ALA and IIDA Announce Recipients of the 2020 Library Interior Design Awards

The International Interior Design Association (IIDA) and the American Library Association (ALA) are pleased to announce the recipients of the 2020 Library Interior Design Awards. This biennial competition honors excellence in library interior design and promotes examples of extraordinary design reflected through innovative concepts.

“When libraries are designed in novel and accessible ways, they become vital parts of their communities,” said IIDA Executive Vice President and CEO Cheryl S. Durst, Hon. FIIDA. “It’s an honor to be celebrating nine deserving projects that demonstrate the power of design within these essential spaces.”

IIDA Names 2020 College of Fellows Inductees

The International Interior Design Association (IIDA) announced the addition of six IIDA members into the prestigious IIDA College of Fellows. The highest honor bestowed upon IIDA’s professional members, induction into the College of Fellows serves as a recognition of those whose activities and efforts have benefitted and enhanced the organization, and whose design work has influenced the design industry.
